Warranty period
3 years
  • On the trouble-free operation of installed hardware and other moving parts.
  • On the trouble-free operation of the integrated electronic components.
5 years
  • On the airtightness of thermal insulation glass.
  • On the strength of brackets and door handles made of stainless steel, in the absence of mechanical damage or changes in surface appearance resulting from environmental influences.
10 years
  • On the functionality of the product.
  • Flawless operation and sealing. On weather resistance against unnatural color changes and crack formation on surfaces, powder coated and anodized aluminum door profiles.
30 years
  • Porteal guarantees that it is able to maintain its products as needed and provide spare parts, thereby ensuring faultless operation or a lifespan of up to 30 years. Replacement parts also include parts that are not visually identical to the originally installed parts, but have identical function. Electronic components are not included. Services required to maintain smooth operation or materials required, billable hours, etc. are invoiced on the basis of the price list in effect on the day of the intervention.
EXERCISE OF THE WARRANTY
  • Warranty claims must be filed in writing with the seller of the product complained of. If it is impossible to contact the seller, the complaint can be sent directly to the manufacturer, who will then handle it themselves or transfer it to another seller. In all cases, the CC number of the door located on the leaf must be communicated.
Warranty does not apply
  • If the product is not maintained in accordance with the instructions for use received from the seller by the buyer or if the manufacturer's instructions for the care and maintenance of the product have not been followed during maintenance of the product.
  • If the installation, replacement, overhaul or modification has been carried out by a person not authorized by the seller.
  • In case of product defects caused by abnormal building effects.
  • If the advertised goods, despite their previously identified defects, were installed at the express request of the buyer, although the seller wanted to eliminate the defect before installation.
  • If the product is exposed to extreme weather conditions, salt water, aggressive gases or air humidity above 70%, before or after installation.
  • In case of non-professional and violent use (bumps, scratches, cleaning) and in case of changes in the appearance of the surface resulting from environmental influences and pollution, such as forces majeure (natural disasters, explosions, fires, storms, etc.).
  • If the error is due to the handling (installation, replacement, maintenance, adjustment etc.) of products and any additional items related to the product (hardware, opening mechanisms, glass, etc.) by unauthorized persons.
  • If the buyer requests the manufacture of elements in dimensions which are not recommended by the manufacturer and which are not in compliance with the manufacturer's technical rules and standards.
  • The warranty does not exclude the consumer's rights arising from the seller's liability in the event of defects in the goods.

    The warranty period begins on the day the invoice for the delivered product is issued. The goods are supposed to be delivered on the day of signing of acceptance of the goods. During the warranty period, the manufacturer shall ensure that reported product defects are eliminated in a timely and appropriate manner and that defective product parts are replaced.
