To ensure long-lasting functionality and aesthetics, it is necessary to ensure regular and professional care and maintenance of the product. To avoid damage to the product, it must be inspected regularly and any damage must be repaired as soon as possible.
By following a few simple instructions, you will be able to use the product for decades to your delight as well as ours. The care and maintenance kit you received with the door will help you with this.
We advise you to use the cleaning and lubrication kit provided for the care and maintenance of your product.
MAINTENANCE OF ALUMINUM AND STAINLESS STEEL SURFACES
Anodized, powder coated and stainless surfaces exposed to external influences require regular maintenance.
You will only be able to maintain the beautiful decorative appearance of your product for decades if you clean it regularly.
The exterior parts are exposed not only to weather conditions, but also to industrial gases and aggressive dust which, together with rain and dew, corrode the surface, harming the visual appearance of the product.
Do not clean the product when exposed to direct sunlight. The maximum surface temperature permitted during cleaning is 25°C.
pH neutral cleaners should be used which do not damage surfaces.
Stubborn dirt, which can only be removed with an effective solvent, must be cleaned with extreme care. Harsh solvents can cause permanent damage to surfaces by forming visible stains. To avoid damaging your product in this way, first ensure that the cleaner will not damage the surfaces of the product by testing a part of the product that is not visible during normal use.
HARDWARE
All hardware comes pre-oiled.
Any debris resulting from installation of the product must be cleaned up immediately (by the installer).
All moving parts of the hardware should be oiled once a year.
Hardware should only be cleaned with products that do not remove the anti-corrosion protection.
The screws should be checked from time to time to ensure they are tight.
INSULATING GLASS
Only cleaning products that can be rinsed off with water should be used for regular window cleaning. The use of harsh cleaning agents or chemical cleaners is prohibited. Silicone parts should not be dry cleaned.
GASKETS
To ensure the durability of the joints, they should be checked periodically to ensure that they are always clean. The seals should be lubricated once a year with the lubricant provided to maintain flexibility.

EXTRA - Aluminum surface cleaner
This special cleaner is suitable for intensive cleaning of metallic paints and fine structural paints. EXTRA Aluminum Surface Cleaner should be applied to the surface with a soft cloth to thoroughly clean contaminated sites. Clean powder-coated metal surfaces using a soft cotton cloth to avoid damaging or staining the surface.
Joint maintenance and protection product
It is a cleaning product for the care and maintenance of EPDM seals incorporated in aluminum elements. Apply with a soft cloth to the accessible joint surface and clean thoroughly. The joints should be checked every six months and cleaned if necessary. This will ensure the long-term elasticity of the joints and their long lifespan.
Edelstahl-Clean stainless steel surface cleaner
Is a product for cleaning and preserving stainless steel surfaces. This stainless steel cleaning product is intended for cleaning the various stainless steel components on the surface of Porteal doors (handles, knobs, etc.). The cleaning product for stainless steel also allows you to quickly clean rust caused by air while lastingly protecting the cleaned surface. Edelstahl-Clean stainless steel cleaner also preserves stainless steel door surfaces and gives them long-lasting protection against stains.
Maintenance and protection oil for hardware
Is intended for the care, maintenance and protection of moving mechanical parts at hinges and other moving hardware elements. Using our hardware protection and maintenance product ensures long-lasting, trouble-free operation of moving parts. Hardware protectant forms a protective layer on the hardware to prevent squeaks and other unwanted noises.
